Commissioner Scholarship

The PCA Administrative Committee offers Commissioner Registration Scholarships to assist churches with limited income in sending commissioners to the General Assembly. This program prioritizes churches with annual incomes under $150,000 and encourages participation from both Ruling and Teaching Elders by helping cover registration costs.

Scholarship Purpose: The scholarship primarily aims to enable representation from limited income churches at the General Assembly and promote Ruling Elder involvement by defraying registration expenses. Churches with income below $150,000 receive priority consideration.
Eligibility Requirements: An applicant must be a Teaching or Ruling Elder from a qualifying PCA church, submitted the previous year’s church statistics, the applicant also must be willing to volunteer in the Stated Clerk’s Office during the Assembly.
Application Process: Applicants must complete the form, including signatures from their Clerk of Presbytery and Clerk of Session, and submit it to the Administrative Committee. The form gathers personal, church, and presbytery information and requires an explanation of financial need.
Scholarship Conditions: Scholarships are need-based, limited by available funds, and contingent on fulfilling service requirements during the Assembly. Failure to meet these obligations may affect future eligibility.
