Report of the Ad Interim Committee on Revision of the Directory for Worship
The report of the Ad Interim Committee on the Revision of the Directory for Worship that has been prepared for the 53rd General Assembly of the Presbytery Church in America is now available.
The 52nd General Assembly created an Ad Interim Committee and tasked it to propose revisions to portions of the Directory for the Worship of God not yet given full authority, in accordance with Scripture and the Westminster Standards, for authoritative use in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) according to the rules of the Book of Church Order,
a. Utilizing the various NAPARC denominations’ Directories of Public Worship as a guide
b. Including scriptural and confessional References
c. Presenting various chapters to the General Assembly for adoption and/or amendment in accord with the provisions set forth in BCO 26-2 until their work is complete.
