Day 21 – Peace

Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born,
    to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
    and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Romans 14:17
 For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

PRAY

• The only way we can be agents of peace is by Your presence because of the work of Christ.
• Lord, help us to rest in perfect peace because of You.
• Help us to be anchored to You―not our circumstances―because You are the Prince of Peace.
• And help us to remember that ultimately our fight for peace was won at the cross and through the resurrection. We don’t have to do anything more, because You have already done it all.
