Advocating for the Persecuted Church
Corey Jackson, The Luke Alliance & Trinity Park Church and Hannah Nation, Center for House Church Theology
We often hear that God uses persecution to grow his church, but is that a complete summary of the matter? Though God is at work in persecution, the suffering of his children at the hands of terrorists, dictators, and totalitarian regimes is always a great evil.
As we witness the challenge facing our brothers and sisters, how should we respond? We have a responsibility to be a voice for the voiceless, to care for the vulnerable, and to tell their stories of faith.
Through the lens of the persecuted church’s experience in China, this seminar will explore a theology of advocacy and will include practical ways that you and your churches can join an alliance of global advocates.
