Children’s Safety in the Church

The church is called to guard and nourish its children. In recent years, many instances of abuse in the church have come to light. Unfortunately, many of the victims have been children. In many cases, this could have been prevented by implementing easy, accessible steps in safety protocols. These steps need to be taken both to ensure the safety of children in the church and to protect volunteers who may be on the receiving end of a false accusation of abuse. In this seminar, we’ll provide practical steps to improve safety for children and volunteers through best practices and policy updates.
