Empowering Women for Effective Ministry

Women make up half of the church, and a healthy women’s ministry can enhance the life of the church. How do churches value women’s involvement without violating biblical principles? In this seminar, we will discuss the importance of a paid women’s staff member, how to provide continuity between pastoral staff and women’s ministry, and how to properly disciple and shepherd women in the church. We will also discuss healthy ways to move from stereotypical women’s activities (ex. planning potlucks and baby showers) to a richer ministry of discipleship.
