Stress is common to the human experience but ministry stress seems to have taken its toll across the landscape of the church. There have been rises in pastors quitting their jobs, reports of mental and physical health problems, vocational crises and relational challenges. Whether it is the rhythms of ministry you are in, church conflicts, cultural battles or our own personal struggles, the layers mount up to drive many to depression, anxiety and giving up.
