The Good News in Every Language
Chris Sicks, One Voice Fellowship
Does your church have neighbors who don’t speak much English? Would you like them to understand the gospel? We will discuss the biblical motivation for incorporating other languages in worship, and how to do it well. You can offer a “proactive welcome” to your new neighbors from unreached people groups, by translating of sermons, prayers, music, etc. We have the joy and duty to “declare His glory among the nations!” (Psalm 96:3) But translation must be done with care, because we are handling God’s Word and caring for the souls of God’s people.
