This seminar will show how the church can and should use seniors in leadership roles. It will explain the importance of accommodating seniors (and others) with disabilities. Starting with a PowerPoint presentation on some shocking statistics, questions are answered on who, what, when, where and how God can use the church to reach this population. Several Biblical characters will be highlighted showing how God used them in their senior years. The seminar will focus on guidelines and suggestions for outreach into the community, using Bible verses and Biblical principals, to show God’s plan for this neglected demographic.
As we witness the challenge facing our brothers and sisters, how should we respond? We have a responsibility to be a voice for the voiceless, to care for the vulnerable, and to tell their stories of faith.
Through the lens of the persecuted church’s experience in China, this seminar will explore a theology of advocacy and will include practical ways that you and your churches can join an alliance of global advocates.
